Pau
This is actually my 3rd attempt in making the paus. The skin is soft and fluffy.
Ingredient
500 g Pau Flour
6 g Dried Yeast
40 g Sugar
40 g Shortening
250 ml water
Method:
In a mixing bowl, add in pau flour, yeast, sugar, shortening and mix well. Then add in water slowly and knead till smooth.
Divide the dough into small pieces and weight 60g each. Let prove for 10 mins.
Flatten the dough and add in the filling and seal. Let prove again for 30 mins. Steam for 10 mins.
Make about 14 pieces.
